Somatic Education

Somatic Movement Education

Somatic education is an approach based on developing body awareness through movement. Its goal is to deepen contact with oneself and support the integration of body and mind in daily functioning.

  • we develop awareness of movement, posture and habits
  • we explore relationships between sensations, movement and way of being
  • we discover new, more supportive movement and perceptual patterns

The work takes place through experience – observation, gentle movement, guided explorations and working with attention.
