How I Work

Philosophy of Embodied Practice

Somatic Practices

Somatics is the science of the body as experienced from within. In my work, I focus on developing sensory and motor awareness, helping people discover how their body moves, feels, and communicates.

Through gentle movements, breathing, and mindfulness, we support the body's natural ability to self-regulate and heal. This is not about "doing something" to the body, but listening to what the body needs.

Key Elements:

  • Conscious breathing and relaxation
  • Gentle movements and stretching
  • Exploring tension patterns
  • Developing proprioception

Aspects of my approach:

  • Safe space for exploration
  • Respect for personal boundaries
  • Understanding of trauma responses
  • Mind-body integration

Trauma-Informed Approach

I understand that trauma is stored in the body and can affect how we experience movement, touch, and relationships. My approach incorporates this knowledge, creating a space where every person can feel safe and maintain control over their process.

I work with the assumption that every body has its own wisdom and healing pace. I don't impose a path, but accompany in discovering the one that is most appropriate for each person.

Qualitative Research in Practice

My work combines practical experience with scientific rigor. I constantly document and analyze processes to better understand the mechanisms of embodied healing.

In practice, this means:

  • • Careful observation and process documentation
  • • Reflective analysis of each session
  • • Continuous learning and method development
  • • Sharing knowledge with the scientific community

Benefits for clients:

  • • Evidence-based approach
  • • Individualized work
  • • Process transparency
  • • Continuous method improvement
